Helping Children Move, Grow & Thrive
Every child develops at their own pace. When movement, strength, balance, coordination, or mobility becomes challenging, pediatric physical therapy and occupational therapy can help.
At Achieve at Home Physical & Occupational Therapy, our team provides individualized, one-on-one care designed to help children build the skills they need to move more confidently, participate in everyday activities, and reach their full potential. Our goal is to make therapy engaging, functional, and specific to your child’s individual needs.
How Pediatric Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Can Help

-
Walking and running mechanics
-
Frequent falls or difficulty keeping up with peers

Developmental Milestones
Children develop at different rates, but difficulty reaching expected motor milestones may be a reason to speak with your pediatrician or consider a physical therapy and/or occupational therapy evaluation.
Our physical and occupational therapists can assess areas such as head and trunk control, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, balance, coordination, strength, and overall gross motor development.
When appropriate, we work with parents and caregivers to provide activities that can be incorporated into the child’s normal routine between therapy sessions.

Pediatric Orthopedic & Sports Rehabilitation
Pediatric physical therapy and occupational therapy isn’t only for developmental delays.
We also work with children and adolescents recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Treatment is individualized based on the child’s diagnosis, age, activity level, physician recommendations, and goals.
Therapy may focus on restoring strength, mobility, balance, coordination, movement mechanics, and confidence so your child can safely return to the activities they enjoy.
Is Pediatric Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Right for Your Child?
Consider speaking with your child’s pediatrician or contacting us if you have concerns about your child’s movement or physical development, including difficulty with developmental milestones, walking, running, balance, coordination, strength, mobility, frequent falls, pain, or returning to activity following an injury or surgery.
Early identification of movement challenges can provide an opportunity to address them before they interfere further with a child’s everyday activities.
