Manual Therapy

We use a variety of manual treatment styles including joint mobilizations, homeostatic-neuro trigger point massage, active release, sports massage, traction, and guided stretching. Whether dealing with an acute or chronic ailment, our therapists are professional at addressing impairments of orthopedic and neuromuscular in nature to help our patients return to their prior level of function.

Therapeutic Exercises

Arguably the most important aspect of any physical therapy plan of care is the proper prescription of effective therapeutic exercises. Through our evidence-based approach to treatment, we customize each exercise routine to your specific needs to facilitate a quick return to your favorite activities. We provide home exercise program sheets and online videos when necessary to assist you with remembering your exercises. When requested, we use your own phone to record you performing the exercises so that you can remember the proper technique while seeing your form while performing the exercises so that you can make any adjustments necessary.

Kinesiology Taping

We use kinesiology taping to reduce pain, swelling, provide support, and improve performance. The tape reduces the pressure under it allow for improved blood flow, lymphatic draining, and a reduction in pain. Kinesiology tape is effective at reducing bruises, alleviating plantar fasciitis, reducing patellofemoral pain syndrome, stabilization of joints after subluxation, improving posture, and reducing swelling. Kinesiology taping does not provide a permanent cure to your condition, however our therapists decide when kinesiology taping might help in conjunction with the rest of your plan of care to get you back physically to what you always loved doing.

Cupping is a form of medicine that originated in Middle Eastern and Asian countries. The cups create a negative pressure that causes blood flow to increase to the surface of the skin. This causes the body to treat this area like an injury and increase the healing factors in the blood in the surrounding area. Cupping is used to treat headaches, neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, and knee pain.
